Itinerary

Day 1: Gather at Rome FIUMICINO Airport arrival area to board a private bus headed for the Port of Naples. Upon arrival at the Port of Naples passengers will be asked to exit the bus and board the ferry boat to Ischia. You may choose to leave your luggage in the storage area of the bus. The bus will be getting on the ferry with you. Upon arrival to the beautiful island of Ischia, we will disembark and get back on the bus which will takes us to Hotel Sorriso. At 7:30 PM our group will meet in one of the hotel's conference rooms for a brief welcome meeting. Enjoy complementary dinner at the hotel. Perhaps you'd enjoy a walk of the beach after dinner.

Day 2: Today your excursion takes you to Ischia Ponte, a 30 minute private bus ride after breakfast at your hotel. The first part of your excursion will be the tour of the centuries old Aragonese Castle. Upon completion of your tour of the castle, we recommend you have lunch at one of the restaurants in town. Feel free to do some shopping if there is time. Check out the old world architecture while you're walking the streets of Ischia Ponte. A time will be established to meet back in front of the castle to get on your bus and return to your hotel. The rest of the day is free time for you. We suggest you visit the beach at Citara Bay. If you're not interested in the beach at that time, please see us and we'll provide other suggestions and help with transportation arrangements.

Day 3: Free time. We have many suggestions as to how to spend your day, please ask. We'll also help you set up daily car rentals or taxi services. You should visit Casamicciola and Ischia Porto today. There are plenty of beaches on the Island. Some of you may choose to enjoy an item off of your hotel's spa menu.

Day 4: Your excursion today takes you to the town of Panza where you'll visit Casa D'Ambra. The island's world famous Winery has vineyards all over Ischia. The day starts with a tour of the winery museum, wine tasting and a visit to the enoteca. You will then be invited to get back on the bus to see the D'Ambra Frassitelli Vineyard on a mountain in the Commune of Serrara 600 meters above sea level with the most breathtaking views. Don't forget your camera today! This excursion will last about 3 hours. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you'd like. Of course all the help you need is available to you to plan your day. Do you want to relax on the beach? Maybe have a Spa Treatment, visit the Island Churches. How about having a great wood fired brick oven pizza for lunch and a great dinner with typical island cuisine at Il Bracconiere Restaurant? Maybe you'll enjoy a nice walk after dinner at Lacco Ameno a have gelato and espresso. We'll help you plan a memorable day.

Day 5: Pack a small bag today and bring your favorite book. It's time for the ultimate in relaxation. An entire day at Giardini Poseidon is a short 5 minute ride from your hotel. At Poseidon, you'll enjoy natural thermal spring water in over 20 pools and great restaurants. Poseidon offers facilities for bathing and beauty treatments, sauna and a private beach. Each morning the pools at Poseidon are filled with natural thermal water and they are drained each night. They wrote the book on relaxation for the mind and body.

Day 6: Capri. After an early breakfast this morning, your driver will await you by the hotel lobby. He will be taking you by bus to the port where you'll take a 40 minute boat ride to Capri. Upon arrival to Capri, you'll have some choices as to what you want to do. Blue Grotto, shopping, beach, Anacapri and much more. We'll help you along your way. Please note that only transportation from your hotel to Capri and back is provided. All excursions on the isle of Capri are not included. You will be back to your hotel the in early evening with enough time for a short nap. You will enjoy your included dinner at the hotel tonight, followed by music and dancing at the piano bar.

Day 7: Have breakfast early this morning because you'll be heading to the port again back to the main land. Today you'll visit the Ruins of Pompeii. If you could open a history book and jump in, that's what today will be like for you. After you visit Pompeii you'll have lunch and then climb Mount Vesuvius. If you dare, you'll actually have the opportunity to stare down into what some call the Mother of Ischia.

Day 8: An early start today also. You will see the Amalfi Coast, the trip there is one of the most beautiful boat rides you could ever imagine. Upon arriving to the main land, we will take a fantastic tour by bus along the coast of Amalfi with an English speaking guide.

Day 9: Free Time. Tomorrow we leave Ischia and head for Rome. So, get your bags packed. Today you should enjoy your favorite part of the Island. Check out some great restaurants. Perhaps you want to visit a part of Ischia that you haven't seen yet. All the guidance you need is available to you.

Day 10: Please check out immediately after breakfast because you're going to Rome. Upon arriving to Rome you'll check in to your hotel and get settled. You are within walking distance from many beautiful places. You will have a guided tour on foot to the Vatican. There are also great restaurants in Rome.

Day 11: All good things must come to an end. Back home for those of you who haven't decided to stay in Rome for a few more days.
